​Historic Abyssinia Travel is an exclusively well-organized Ethiopian owned tour company, based in Addis Ababa that provides an outstanding tour and travel service with the most customized and tailor-made tour package designed according to our customers need.
Historic Abyssinia Travel is owned and operated by an Ethiopian multi lingual tourism expert. His name is Mr Abebe Abiye. He was born in Gondar, which is one of the most renown historical destination in the Northern part of Ethiopia. As a child, he saw a foreign tourists and used to dream working as a tourist ambassador on -behalf of his country.
Therefore, when he finished his primary and secondary school, he went to the university of Gondar which is the pioneer university in East Africa to study Tourism management. After he finished his study from this university, he joined his dream work and he understood that he had to learn more extra foreign language beside to his English language. The first two years, he could able to speak Italian language by his strong effort and good interaction of tourists. He was not satisfied to speak only English and Italian. He decided to learn German language from German cultural school center (Goethe institute) in Addis Ababa. So, he went to Addis Ababa to learn German. When he was at German school, He was tough and stood first and he got a free scholarship to learn German language. He has been working for the last 8 years as a multi lingual national Guide with many travel companies, mainly as English, German and Italian Speaking Guide. Therefore, he developed excellent interaction and dealing skills with his clients from his work experience.
